Duck Blind Theater

There is a solitude, or perhaps a solemnity, in the few hours that precede the dawn of day which is unlike that of any others in the twenty-four, and which I cannot explain or account for. Thoughts come to me at this time that I never have at any other. - George Bird Grinnell (September 20, 1849 – April 11, 1938)

Sportsmen, bird watchers and wildlife lovers know that a duck blind is a fantastic place to view wildlife. That’s why the Flyways Museum created the Duck Blind Theater, a hideout in the museum where you can see and hear everything as it may take place on nature’s stage.

Every year the museum offers a new show to tie in with our current exhibit. The show offers an educational experience for all, showing visitors young and old a different perspective on waterfowl.

This year’s show, “The Mighty Tundra Swan,” allows our visitors to watch the beauty of thousands of tundra swans on their fall migration to a stopping point in Ontario, Canada. Come to the museum to see this breath-taking sight. All of our shows are only offered for one year. You don’t want to miss this one!
